Cake-athon for kids

Plan for the day

10:30 – 11:00 | Registration & Sign-In

Children arrive, sign in, and get settled.

11:00 – 11:15 | Welcome & Settling In
Introduction to the day and creating a comfortable, positive environment.

11:15 – 12:30 | SOP Workshop & Planning

  • Introduction to the concept Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and expectations for the day

  • Children split into groups and work with facilitators to create a clear plan for their cake project

12:30 – 1:45 | Cake Techniques Session

  • Led by an experienced cake maker (Sweet As)

  • Children learn cake-making and painting techniques, along with a creative brief

  • Demo cake and risk mitigation

==>Fast-Round Plan Review

  • Children revise and improve their SOP and plan based on expert guidance

1:45 – 4:00 | Cake Making & Cleaning

  • Hands-on cake creation

  • Emphasis on teamwork, time management, and shared responsibility, including clean-up

4:00 – 4:45 | Reflection & Presentation Prep

  • Children reflect on their planning process and make final SOP updates

  • Groups prepare a short, creative presentation about their cake and learning experience

4:45 – 5:15 | Presentations & Closing

  • Group presentations

  • Thank-yous and wrap-up

 

Important Reminder:​

  • Children must bring their own lunch and reusable water bottles

  • Expected time of pick-up: 5:30 (our team will keep you updated)

  • NO Experience needed!!

1. Eligibility: This event is designed for Muslim boys and girls aged 7-10.

2. Event rules: Participants are expected to adhere to the code of conduct and follow the event rules. Any violation of rules or disruptive behavior may result in dismissal from the event.

3. Photography: Participants agree to have their photos taken and shared on our social media platforms. If a participant has any concerns, they must inform the management team prior to the event.

4. Refund policy: All sales are final - no refund or change of mind

5. Dress code: To ensure a respectful and modest atmosphere at the event, participants are kindly asked to dress modestly and appropriately for the event.
